I am a passionate, smart and sassy baseball fan. I’m a former New Yorker (where the sassy part comes from) who was raised a New York Mets fan by parents and grandparents who lived for the Brooklyn Dodgers. I’ve lived in San Francisco for nearly 20 years and am now a die-hard San Francisco Giants fan. It makes for fun family reunions.

This blog is for all passionate, smart and sassy baseball fans. For fans who love baseball and for those who like it but are open to loving it. For fans who count the days between the World Series ending and spring training beginning. For fans who hibernate from sports in the winter. For fans who appreciate the meditative power of a day at the yard and for those who like the hot dogs, beer and peanuts. For fans who are interested in advanced baseball statistics but don’t get lost in the numbers. For fans who love to talk about in-game strategy and second-guess every move. For fans like me and you.

Thanks for visiting HangingSliders. Stay a while, linger, share a comment or two. Come back and visit often. Share the goodness with all of the baseball-loving folks you know. Enjoy.
